               The Pottery Loft would like to extend an invitation to your organization for an opportunity for a risk-free fundraising event!  Raising money has never been so fun and easy.  Friends, Families and co-workers bond while discovering their hidden artistic talents in a studio that encourages creativity.
History
The Pottery Loft has been supplying local residents an avenue to explore their creative side since 2002.  Our warm and relaxing atmosphere offers a unique experience where artists of all skill levels gather to create their own individual masterpiece.
               The process is easy!

• Customers select from a wide variety of unfinished pottery (bisque).  Our inventory includes everything from plates, bowls and mugs to figurines, piggy banks and pirate ships.  There are hundreds of items to choose from.
• Next choose from over 50 paints in which to make your selection a truly special piece.  You may use your own imagination or obtain “creative assistance” from our display pieces, books or expert staff.
• After your finishing touches have been added, we will glaze and fire your piece and it will be ready for pick-up in one week.  All finished products are food-safe.

Fundraising
Raising money for your organization is as easy as 1-2-3!

• Pick your Dates.  Pick a set of dates (Tuesday-Sunday) that fits into your organizations schedule. 
• Advertise We will provide signs that can be posted throughout your building and other coupons/flyers that can be duplicated and sent home with your students or members
• Pick, paint and profit!  Now the fun begins!  When the nights of your fundraiser arrive your participants will come to The Pottery Loft with the coupon that has been provided to them.  They will pick a piece of pottery and paint it.  We will glaze and fire their masterpiece and they will be able to pick it up in one week.  In the mean time your organization will receive a 20% of the total sales related to your fundraiser during the nights of your event. 

Please note: No other coupons or discounts can be used in conjunction with this fundraiser.
Two weeks after your fundraiser, the Pottery Loft will provide your organization with a check for the amount earned.   There is no risk involved.  If no one paints, your group will not lose out, on the other hand if the students, parents and staff take advantage of the offer you can easily raise several hundred dollars.

Rape Crisis Intervention Services of Carroll County raised $100.00 by holding a fundraiser at The Pottery Loft. RCIS provides free counseling and support services to victims of sexual violence and their families.

The sisters from Gamma Sigma Sigma, a local chapter of the national service sorority from McDaniel College, held a fundraiser at The Pottery Loft. Through their efforts, they were able to raise $200.00 to benefit The American Cancer Society's Relay for Life.
